New $PADRE Token Utility: Revenue Sharing

Announced on January 16th, 2025, Padre has introduced a game-changing utility for the $PADRE token: Revenue Sharing. This utility is designed to reward loyal $PADRE holders while encouraging active traders who contribute to the app's growth.

How It Works?

  • Hold $PADRE: The more $PADRE you hold in a wallet designated within the Padre app, the larger your share of the rewards.

  • Boost Rewards Through Trading: Active trading volume within the Padre app increases your share even further, making every trade count.

This dual mechanic not only incentivizes holding $PADRE but also aligns rewards with user activity, ensuring that those who support the ecosystem the most reap the greatest benefits. Next Steps: The exact mechanics of the Revenue Sharing program will be announced on January 30th, 2025. In the meantime, you can get ahead by:

  • Holding $PADRE in your designated wallet

  • Increasing your trading volume on trade.padre.gg

2025 is set to be the Year of Padre – this new utility marks a pivotal step in making it legendary.

What are other benefits of holding $PADRE?

As part of introducing Rev Sharing model, existing utility tiers have been optimized to make them more inclusive - a new lower tier has been added. Currently available discounts for Padre in-app fees are as following:

  • Entry: 500 $PADRE and more — 5% discount on fees

  • Advanced: 1000 $PADRE and more — 10% discount on fees

These discounts do stack with referral discounts, offering even greater savings.

  • Access to exclusive gated features announced after the initial token launch

  • $PADRE buybacks and burns are implemented to reward holders and celebrate milestones.

  • No token fees: on July 24th, the team announced that token trading taxes have been reduced from 2% to 0%.

  • Large holders are also given access to a special Whale Channel

As Padre evolves, we will introduce even more token utilities to support the product growth, and help expand the ecosystem — this is only the beginning.
