Trading Presets in Padre allow users to predefine transaction settings for faster and more efficient trades. Custom presets provide flexibility in configuring priority, tip, slippage, and MEV protection settings.
Padre provides three customizable presets and an adaptive dynamic mode:
P1, P2, P3: Fully customizable presets that allow users to set:
Priority (Prio): Base fee to prioritize your transaction.
Tip: Additional incentive for builders to accelerate processing (Solana & BNB only).
Slippage: Maximum allowed price variation for execution.
MEV Protection: Toggle to reduce the risk of front-running (not available on Base).
π₯ Inferno Mode (for Solana):
A dynamic preset that automatically adjusts priority and tip settings to remain competitive against rival bots.
It uses multi-send routing to maximize execution speed by distributing transactions to top builders.
Inferno Mode is pre-configured and not user-adjustable.
P1, P2, and P3 can be fully customized by the user, while Inferno Mode is adaptive and automatically optimized by the system.
Presets can be adjusted according to chain-specific settings:
Prio: Base priority fee, set in SOL or BNB.
Tip: Optional builder tip to further incentivize priority processing.
Slippage: Maximum allowed price deviation for execution (e.g., 20%).
MEV Protection: Toggle to reduce the risk of front-running and sandwich attacks.
Prio: Priority fee in Gwei (e.g., 3 Gwei).
Slippage: Maximum allowed price deviation for execution (e.g., 20%).
MEV Protection: Available for Ethereum to prevent frontrunning.
Tips are not applicable on Ethereum/Base.
Once settings are configured, the preset is automatically applied when placing a trade.
Inferno Mode is an advanced transaction execution system that ensures your trades get processed as fast as possible while keeping costs efficient. It dynamically adjusts priority fees and tips, routing transactions through multiple builders for the highest success rate.
Multiple transactions are sent simultaneously to top Solana builders (bloXroute, NextBlock, Temporal, and Jito).
Only one transaction will be successful β a custom Solana program ensures that the fastest transaction is finalized, while the rest are automatically discarded.
Builders only charge tips for successful transactions. If a transaction is reverted, only the priority fee (Prio) is paid, reducing unnecessary costs.
Padre optimizes overall spend on prio/tip, allocating more SOL to tips to prioritize successful execution.
Example Four transactions are sent:
Temporal is first to include the txn, getting priority + tip. The builder earns $0.5 (tip + prio).
bloXroute loses but reverts the txn. The builder earns $0.2.
NextBlock loses but does not revert the txn (prio is $0.01 and tip is $0.49βprio alone isn't attractive enough) - no added cost.
Jito is sent in non-reverting mode - no added cost.
Total cost for the txn in this scenario: $0.5 + $0.2 = $0.7
β Maximizes success rate β transactions are routed across multiple builders for the best execution. β Ensures faster fills β automatic priority adjustments keep you ahead of the competition. β Minimizes costs β only successful transactions incur full fees, while reverts have minimal impact. β Prevents failed trades β reducing congestion-related failures, especially in high-demand periods.
Inferno Mode can be enabled in the trading widget when placing orders on Solana.
During high-demand events (e.g., token launches, low-liquidity trades).
When competing against bots that prioritize speed.
For critical trades where execution speed is essential.
With Trading Presets, including Inferno Mode, you can optimize your trading strategy on Padre by predefining your settings, ensuring efficient and competitive order execution.
